Our Story
For over three decades, we've been helping contractors, developers, and property owners throughout Eastern and Southern Idaho overcome the challenges presented by the region's notorious lava rock. What began with a single drill has grown into a comprehensive rock removal operation with a reputation for quality, safety, and dependability.
Today we continue to build on our foundation of excellence while embracing modern techniques and technologies to provide the most effective rock removal solutions available.
Eagle Rock Blasting has roots in Eastern Idaho's construction industry, with a legacy built on expertise, reliability, and family values. Our journey began in the 1980s when our founder worked for a contracting company in Idaho Falls, handling their drilling and blasting operations.
When that company decided to outsource their drilling and blasting work, our founder saw an opportunity to establish a specialized service focused exclusively on conquering Idaho's challenging lava rock formations. In 1992, Eagle Rock Blasting was officially incorporated as a family-owned and operated business.
